Are you ready to work with luxurious lambskin Italian leather? Dreaming of a designer-inspired clutch that you have
created yourself? Then this is the class for you!
In this class, you will use premium lambskin Italian leather, sourced as surplus from some of the most renowned handbag
designers. Students will learn the art of quilting leather and constructing a Simply Classic Clutch.
What is included in your class kit:
• Italian lambskin leather
• Stabilizing foam
• Tilda cotton lining
• Woven interfacing
• Hardware
• The Simply Classic Clutch pattern
• Silver marking pen pack
All pieces included in the kit are pre-cut, stabilized and interfaced.
What you need to bring:
• 6” acrylic ruler with a 45-degree angle
• Scissors and thread snips
• Semi-industrial sewing machine (Janome HD-9, Juki TL18, Bernette 08, Bernina 570 model or higher, or
equivalent)
• Teflon foot and zipper foot
• Thread (polyester) if your machine can not sew with Tex 45 bonded nylon thread
• Size 90/14 leather needle
Provided during class:
• Tex 45 bonded nylon thread
• Double-sided tape
• Hole punch
• Rivet press
• Rivets
These items must be returned at the end of the class.
