WELCOME TO THE

SAC BAG ’N

SEW EXPO

The idea turned into a mission — to create a place where bag makers and sewists could come together, learn from ONE another, and build a warm, supportive community.

More than an expo, a Sacramento community built on creativity, kindness, and the love of handmade craft.
A place where learning feels natural and friendships grow without effort.
A space where every maker feels seen, welcomed, and inspired to keep creating.

About Sac Bag ’N Sew Expo

Sac Bag ’N Sew began with a simple question: why doesn’t Northern California have its own sewing and bag-making expo?

From that moment, the idea turned into a mission — to create a place where bag makers and sewists could come together, learn from one another, and build a warm, supportive community.

Our Vendors

Vendors will include many exceptional small businesses that provide high-quality bagmaking supplies and materials. They bring together a thoughtful selection of fabrics, hardware, tools, and unique accessories that appeal to both beginners and experienced makers.

Each vendor contributes its own specialty, offering products that are often hard to find elsewhere and curated with real craftsmanship in mind.

Our Classes

This year's classes will range in length from one hour to eight hours, giving attendees the flexibility to choose sessions that fit their schedule, skill level, and interests. With an additional full day added to the expo, you’ll have even more opportunities to sit down with our teachers, practice techniques hands-on, and dive deeper into the art of bagmaking.

Throughout the event, instructors will introduce you to some of the newest tricks, methods, and creative approaches used in the industry today.

Our Tickets

Class Tickets are NOW on sale.  You do NOT need a ticket to get into the Vendor Hall this year.  You will need to purchase tickets to each class you want to participate  in.  Many classes ALSO require you to purchase a kit. Some allow you to pull from your stash.  Read carefully to see what needs to be done ahead of the Expo.

Our Teachers

Our teachers are more than just people here to share their projects, they are here to help and guide you throughout the expo.  They are happy to answer your questions.  You can also follow them in our group or on their social media.  Nearly all of our teachers have a YouTube channel where they post videos and LIVEs for you to enjoy and learn from.
