This perfectly sized tote is packed with features:

Whether you are headed to work, shopping, or attending events, The Julie is the ideal everyday bag.
In this class, you will work with premium faux leather to construct this beautiful and functional tote. Key skills covered in
class will include:
• Constructing the bag and topstitching in the tunnel
• Install a zipper pocket
• Turning the bag and finishing the lining with minimal effort
What is included in your class kit:
• High-quality faux leather
• Decovil Light and Decovil Heavy stabilizer
• Tilda cotton lining
• Woven interfacing
• Hardware
• The Julie pattern
All pieces included in the kit are pre-cut, stabilized and interfaced.
What you need to bring:
• Scissors and thread snips
• Ruler
• Semi-industrial sewing machine (Janome HD-9, Juki TL18, Bernette 08, Bernina 570 model or higher, or
equivalent)
• Teflon foot and zipper foot
• Thread (polyester) if your machine can not sew with Tex 45 bonded nylon thread
• Size 90/14 leather needle
• Fabric safe pen
Provided during class:
• Tex 45 bonded nylon thread
• Double-sided tape
• Hole punch
• Rivet press
• Rivets
These items must be returned at the end of the class.
